CARE INSTRUCTIONS OF FIREMAN'S FRIEND

Upon first purchasing your Fireman's Friend chamois, run it under cool water to activate the material. The chamois is machine washable and can be returned to it's original tube damp. There is an anti-mildew and mold agent in the material. If it does dry out, run it under cool water for 2 to 3 minutes to bring it back to it's original texture. If any mold or smell occurs, it is possible that an agent other than water was stored in the tube. Fireman's Friend can be safely washed with detergent and an ammonia such as Simple Green. Do not use bleach or fabric softener on this product.
